APPEAL FOR FUNDS
The Asante Mampong Toronto Association Aims to raise fund for the Asante Mampong District Hospital Children's ward project.
Why the Campaign Appeal needs your help!!!
Up to half a million children are currently being treated in Mampong District hospital, but at the moment, children's services are merged in the current hospital space and facilities at the hospital as there is no children's ward, and the wards are stretched to full capacity.
The new children's ward at the hospital will specifically focus on children's services, at Mampong, and bring sick children under one roof to the benefit of everyone. The new ward will be a specialist centre where majority of children will be treated.
The new children's ward will benefit children from a wide geographical area not just Mampong and vicinity. Children will be referred to this hospital from Kwabre Sekyere, Afigya Sekyere, Effiduase/Asokore, Attebubu /Amantin, Ejura/Sekyedumase, Nkoranza and Pru in the Brong Ahafo region.
Children need to be cared for in an environment designed to minimize stress and anxiety.
Children and their families deserve the best care in the best setting
Advances in medical science and practice increase the need for space emergency and diagonistic facilities for easy collaboration and consultation.
The children's ward will provide all of the above and more. With 50
beds, most of them with parent/caretaker beds next to them, will truly be a child and family friendly Hospital for the 21stCentury.
Please Donate to this worthy cause. Thanks.
